PROGRAMS FOR 0-5 YR OLDS:

PROGRAM TITLE:  MOVE N' GROOVE WITH PUPPETS!

Program Description: Esther and her handmade puppets encourage babies and toddlers to move their bodies to a diverse mix of classic kids songs, original acoustic guitar songs and backing tracks of Thunder & Sunshine songs (a rock band she founded in 2017). Perfect for ages 0-5, this program also incorporates interactive rhythmic games, finger play, body movement and counting songs -some of which she sings in Spanish- and a favorite children's book. Each of Esther's puppets have big hearts and personalities of their own, like Bernie the Bee, who loves dancing to the kazoo and teaching lessons about how bees pollinate fruits and vegetables; and Moonice the Cow, who teaches about emotions. Esther and her puppets empower, entertain and educate young children while weaving comedy, kindness and the importance of community into each show.

PROGRAM TITLE:  WHERE IN THE WORLD?

Program Description: Esther and her handmade puppets encourage kids to explore and imagine different environments through movement and music. Esther will introduce the program with her “Where in the World” theme song, and locations (to be determined prior to performance date) include a city park, a farm, a forest and even an apartment building. This fun and educational program prepares young children for real-life scenarios and incorporates mindfulness, sustainability and the importance of community.

PROGRAM TITLE:  CLIMATE-ROCK PUPPET PARTY!

Program Description: Award-winning NYC Kindie climate-rocker and puppeteer, Esther Crow teaches climate and sustainability lessons to kids through song, dance and chants! By weaving comedy and kindness into each session, Esther empowers kids with the knowledge and confidence to be leaders of social/climate justice actions, and to understand the importance of the natural world around them. Each of her puppets has unique personalities and lessons to share, like Sustainable Sammy, a sock puppet who is a champion for reusing and repurposing, and Bernie the Bee who teaches about how bees (and bats!) pollinate our fruits and vegetables.

PROGRAM TITLE:  PUPPET PARTY FOR PEACE!

Program Description: Through puppetry and song, award-winning NYC Kindie rocker Esther Crow encourages kids to speak out for causes that are important to them. This fun,  interactive and educational show will get kids moving their bodies and shaking their instruments to meaningful music and chants for peace, climate action and social change. By weaving comedy and kindness into each show, Esther empowers kids with the knowledge and confidence to be leaders of social justice actions, and to understand the importance of community and acceptance of others. Each of her puppets has unique personalities and lessons to share, like Sustainable Sammy, a sock puppet who is a champion for climate justice, and Proud Perry, a paper-bag puppet who represents the values of Pride: self-love, equality, and diversity.

PROGRAM TITLE:  POLLINATOR PUPPET WORKSHOP!

Program Description: Esther and her puppet, Bernie the Bee, assist kids in creating bee and bat puppets and teach about how these creatures pollinate many of the fruits and vegetables we eat, and how important they are to maintaining healthy ecosystems world-wide. Families are encouraged to bring recycled toilet paper and paper towel rolls for the base of the puppets, and any other recycled/upcycled materials such as colored paper, fabric scraps, beads, sequins, pipe cleaners etc. Some materials will also be provided. Kids will be encouraged to name their puppets and give them voices and personalities. Best for ages 4-10; parents may need to assist younger children. NOTE: Esther's winter theme is: Snow People Puppets! Other themes: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Valentines Day, St. Patrick's, or any theme of YOUR or your child's choice! Make it your own! Great for parties and events.
